Welcome to the Inkscape wiki!
Inkscape is an open source drawing tool. Inkscape uses the scalable vector graphics format (SVG). Inkscape also imports several formats like EPS, PostScript, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF and exports PNG as well as multiple vector-based formats.
