The only issue I have now is that I need a way to export a high resolution graphic for other programs to use; .AI would be the format of choice, I think, and it would be awesome if the layers were preserved.  I haven't been able to find an extension that does that...maybe I don't know what I'm looking at.  If anyone knows of an extension or work-around, I would love to hear it!

:No need to export to anything. SVG is understood by all modern programs, including AI. Just send them the SVG file and it will preserve everything. [[User:Bbb|Bbb]] 00:34, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

10/13/2007 - Export to Hi-Res File Formats?

I used Inkscape last about a year ago and had all manner of problems with it (constant crashing made it un-evaluatable); recently I downloaded and installed the 0.45 version and it rocks! I used it to create a t-shirt design.
