10/13/2007 - Export to Hi-Res File Formats?

I used Inkscape last about a year ago and had all manner of problems with it (constant crashing made it un-evaluatable); recently I downloaded and installed the 0.45 version and it rocks! I used it to create a t-shirt design.

The only issue I have now is that I need a way to export a high resolution graphic for other programs to use; .AI would be the format of choice, I think, and it would be awesome if the layers were preserved. I haven't been able to find an extension that does that...maybe I don't know what I'm looking at. If anyone knows of an extension or work-around, I would love to hear it!

No need to export to anything. SVG is understood by all modern programs, including AI. Just send them the SVG file and it will preserve everything. Bbb 00:34, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
