  • Hairlines can now be rendered in Inkscape. There is currently no user interface for adding them yet, though. Hairlines can be specified by adding stroke-width:1px; stroke-width: -ink-hairline; vector-effect:non-scaling-stroke; into the <style> tag of the object via the XML editor or the Style dialog. Hairlines will be exported to PNG correctly. Export to PDF requires that the Cairo library that your Inkscape program was compiled with contains the additional code from (as of Oct. 26, 2019, there's no official Cairo version available yet that contains the patch).
