One thing I would like to comment is that if you want to attract new developers you should make it more clear where the source code can be accessed and how contributions, plugins can be made. I would recommend taking a look at the way Drupal.org organizes its site. The drupal site makes it very clear how to get involved.

Can someone with authority on the matter please update this to explain what will be in 0.50, when its release is expected, if there will be any other 0.x releases, and when 1.0 (along with its full SVG support and new version numbering scheme) is expected? Release dates

This roadmap shows the changes that future versions are going to have, but a roadmap should also set a general time table. It is also unclear if there will be any version between version 0.55 and version 1.00. On a related note, this project needs to move along much more quickly, and possibly consolidate milestones. Otherwise, at the rate the project is going, it won't reach milestone 21 (which comes before full svg support) for almost a decade, and something tells me that the project was going at a more reasonable speed as Sodipodi. Perhaps if more developers can be found, the project can reach version 1 within a just few years. Macosxp 17:08, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
