IconsStyle

Hey guys I made an SVG file type for windows if you want to include it in your releases; upload:svg.ico thanks David Horsley

upload:inkscape_bayo_screeshot.jpg

(error on picture after<->befor) I upload a new icon resource for the win32 inkscape exe. upload:inkscape_bayo.ico (if you want to use it), i dont know how to contribute to inkscape, that why i upload it here. The curent icon (use in inkscape) is cut in the top and use white background color. The new use transparent color and alpha for XP (16x16 and 32x32 in 4bit and 32bit color depth) Remove this this message after reading it :)

Also, DEFENDGUIN and others have been asking about ICON development. We need to figure out where we stand on this? Do we want to develop ALL new icons, or replace some existing ones, or fill-in the ones we don't have completed?

Is anyone familiar with the procedure on how to design and implement new icons in the Inkscape Interface? It would be helpful if someone (bulia? ahem... :) ) could take the time to lay-out how to do this for some newbies to the project (DEFENDGUIN, myself, etc).
