I have been trying to work on searching algorithms within real-life code and am looking for a project in which to implement them. Inkscape seems like great project, so I was wondering if anyone had any need to search through objects within Inkscape and if this process needs to be optimized. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! | I have been trying to work on searching algorithms within real-life code and am looking for a project in which to implement them. :We have a Find dialog (ctrl+f) which works but is pretty clunky. If you can improve it in any way, that will be great help. One feature which is often requested is: search and select all objects that have the same fill/stroke/whatever as the currently selected object. Let me know if you need any help with your work.
