: Thanks for the hint (text vs. flowText), I'll check this soon. In my opinion, anyway it seems to be not such good to look on inkscape files as on "source files". I often hold tool box files with the ingredients for further development. --[[User:Uncopy|Uncopy]] 11:16, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Seren

Did you want to provide a vector image of the dialog by File:Img links mockup.svg, should it be "repaired" (means simplified)? Please have a look on this Image links mockup.svg? Regards --Uncopy 08:09, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

The problem with the wiki-auto-conversion-tool is text, sometimes transparency and layers. To convert a text into a single path use the following sequence

  • Ctrl+Shift+C = object to path

  • Ctrl+Shift+G = ungroup

  • Ctrl+Shift++ = combine

Hi, Thanks you for the tip. In fact I uploaded the .png Img links mockup.png and provided the .svg source in a link because texts failed to display.

I wonder : when I convert text into single path, it's not editable anymore so that's a problem. In fact I noticed that I used Inkscape's FlowText for text in an area. FlowText is SVG 1.2, that is why no other software can display it correctly. Maybe using "Text" > "convert to text" solves the problem. Because it convert this FlowText in Text, and Text is SVG1.1.

I know that when using "text" and not "flowText", it display well in any other software I know. For me this is a serious Inkscape problem. --Steren 10:39, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
