Adding REX info

New page

Remote Events for XML (REX)

Allows for interesting tracking of DOM Events. Originally targeting edit events, this could also be quite useful to other things if we have say our internals exposed as another DOM that events could be watched on.

It might be useful for extensions, macros, and perhaps even Inkboard.

----

There is [http://www.w3.org/TR/rex/ a working draft from the w3c]

There is also [http://www.builderau.com.au/program/xml/soa/Handle_DOM_streaming_protocols_with_the_Remote_Events_for_XML_specification/0,339028469,339272315,00.htm an article at builder.au] that gives a good overview.
