&lt;div&gt;As a new inkscape user, I have little background in using Illustrator.&lt;br /&gt;
I am happy to now have a vector package that I can share things easily with&lt;br /&gt;
others (I use xfig).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I do have this stack of .AI files which I can't convert. I had paid graphics&lt;br /&gt;
artists to create them... stuff like business cards, and corporate logos, which I just need to do minor tweaks to.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A wonderful thing would be if there were people willing to open .AI files&lt;br /&gt;
and save in an inkscape compatible .SVG format. I'd pay for this service.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
