I added a feature request in Blueprints for the path simplifier, where sections between selected nodes can be simplified. I auto-traced the deck plan of a cruise ship, and I wanted to simplify the curved lines, while keeping the straight, square parts straight and square. Unfortunately, simplify makes ''everything'' curvy. Intuitively, I tried selecting groups of nodes to simplify, but it didn't work. Would that feature be a lot of trouble to develop?
