I am a mathematician working in geometry and topology and I was recently asked to give a presentation on Inkscape at a professional development workshop for graduate students in topology. After realizing that you can't really do much other than demonstrate a few cool things in a one hour presentation, and that a lot of the graduate students were actually better than me at using inkscape, it occurred to me that we really need a geometry/topology inkscape wiki, so that's why I'm here.
