With regard to the issue with 'Transform handles': Inkscape already knows two bounding box modes, see 'Inkscape Preferences > Tools > Bounding box to use' (Visual (default, includes stroke width and filter effects regions) or Geometric). --~suv 17:23, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
